Dear Jesus,

Today has been a good day at work.

I am grateful to you for providing for my needs through my job.

Thank you for helping us all work together and problem solve when issues arise.

Speak to all my leaders hearts, help them to get understanding and wisdom to manage their affairs well.

Even when my leaders act in ways I don’t like give me wisdom and help me to practise my skills to work with them for the bigger picture.

Help me to know the difference between what is right and wrong and what I should just leave in your hands.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

Thank you so much for rest. Not just any kind of rest.

Healing rest.

It has been an eventful day at work.

So many issues, so many problems, so many dilemma’s to be solved.

Whatever our work environments are like, please give us the resources we need to operate in a way that imitates your character.

We don’t have to be afraid or worry; as we honour your way of doing things we know you are pleased.

You haven’t told us to work like we are working for men, but to work like we are working for you.

And working for you is so fulfilling and satisfying.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

I believe that no matter what circumstances we have to face each day, I accept and acknowledge that you have the solutions.

Not just any solutions, the kind that is more than just actions and remedies.

A positive attitude, a happy and peaceful attitude, understanding and compassionate and hopeful.

I am learning these at work. Its not easy, at times I do the opposite.

But you help me to understand and see and try again.

Thank you for this humbling experience.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

If you were here, what advice would you give to employees?

What would you say to someone struggling to preserve their integrity?

There are so many pressures all around, so many influences and situations that seek to pull us away from your way of doing things.

Nothing is ever black and white in the workplace.

Tell me lord, how can I navigate through situations where basic trust has been sabotaged?

What is the solution here? What is the bigger picture?

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

What areas in your life did you have responsibility?

How did you handle your role of responsibility?

I don’t like responsibility. I would rather run away from my responsibilities than face it and own up to my responsibilities.

But Lord, I know its a sign and a quality that you desire in all of us.

Its not just what you desire but its also a part of who you are.

Its good. Its noble. Its righteous.

Help me to learn what this means. Help me to be more responsible.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

The day hasn’t started off on the right foot.

I am on my way to work and some of us our on our way to our jobs, some of us are coming back or will soon be starting.

Although many of us would rather be at home relaxing and doing our own thing including me I am thankful that there is work.

To provide for the nessesaties in life and the pleasures.

And to also give back to you what you have given to us.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

Work is really starting to take its toll on me.

Im trying so hard but it is never enough.

I have such a long way to go in this new role that I am in.

Thank you for the help I am recieving. It is lightening the load alittle.

Giving me that extra push.

It must have been difficult for you when you were learning to be a leader.

But you overcame.

Please help us who are leaders to overcome.

In your Name,

 Dear Jesus,

Its been a long and tiring day.

Alot has happened and alot has been completed.

But there is still much to do and not much time.
Lord, Many of us are working jobs that involve tight deadlines on a daily basis.

We need your strength and wisdom to work through these deadlines and complete the work set for us.

Thank you for the privilege to be able to work and achieve.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

It is growing increasingly difficult to cope with working life and the pressures involved.

Gossip. Backbiting. Blame. Guilt trips. Stress. Big workloads.

Sometimes I want to give up. Other times I want to stay because it would not be practical for me to give up.

Lord please help me.

Please help all of us who find it so difficult to cope with being in the workplace.

What can I do to minimise the stress and do the best I can at the same time?

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

Please give me the strength to practise patience.

I really believe that patience is such a valuable virtue that can mean relationships and bridges will either be built or broken.

I am not a very patient person and I am not the best at putting others before myself.

Its even harder because no-one can see the battle that rages within us.

Many of us find this area so challenging. Why Lord? Why is it so hard to practise patience?

Help us to recognise those times when we have practised patience, learn from that and continue in patience.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

The routines of Life can really put a downer on life.

Some feel hopeless, trapped, uninspired and dull.

But at the same time these same routines bring order, structure, lessons and pave the way for bigger opportunities.

There is good even when there seems to be bad.

Help me to be open minded and positive about our lives and what we are doing in our lives.

Thank you for the experiences you have given to us.

What can we learn?

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

I just want to take this opportunity to give you thanks for fresh starts.

For old experiences that teach us valuable things. Things that stick with us and mold us into better and productive workers.

Workers not just for money and making a living but workers for this life.

For you and for others.

Thank you for giving us the space and time to make good and informed decisions not just in the workplace but in our own lives.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

Today is a day where a lot of patience and understanding is needed so very much.

So many things have taken place this week.

I am learning to accept whatever comes and look forward to the future with excitement.

Lord thank you for taking us through this week.

For guiding us through all the circumstances, failures and stresses.

To be alive is a blessing because it is anither chance to live.

In your Name,
