The Bible

Dear Jesus,

Your words are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.

They are true, every single one of them.

Which means we can trust your word.

We can believe that you are speaking the truth.

When you command us, encourage us, woo us, warn us, enlighten us, inspire us, advise us, teach us and instruct us.

Everything you say to us is true.

They have been tested and proved by lots of people.

Thank you for this reassurance.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

I read that with the merciful you show yourself merciful, with the blameless you show yourself blameless, with the purified, you show yourself pure and with the crooked you show yourself to seem torturous.

But Lord how can you make yourself seem torturous to people who are crooked if you are good to everyone?

It’s as if you make yourself something you are not.

Is it that, how you are showed to me is dependant on what I do? Or what I am? Or how I am? What?

I’m finding it so hard to understand this verse.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

Psalm 23 is a chapter filled with so many lessons.

Thank you that you take care of us and you are in charge of us.

You are ahead of us all the time because you are the leader.

I am a sheep, and I have similar qualities like a sheep. Being anything but would mean a I am no longer your sheep.

I cannot be guided by you because sheep are meant to be guided.

So let us not forget our place and go ahead of you.

In your Name,

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for the lessons you teach us in the bible.

About the way you dealt with different kind of people.

Real people. With real situations. Everyday situations and dilemmas. Political and personal.

Im still learning so much.

And the beauty of it, is that we are a so different with different experiences going on, different ways and different natures.

New and unique.

But you know just the way to deal with us all.

There is nothing that you cannot relate to.

You are an amazing father and freind.

In your Name,
