Reconcilliation

WHAT IT MEANS TO FORGIVE OTHERS

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for your forgiveness, for reaching out and reconciling with us all the time.

Keep showing us what it looks like and what it means to forgive others.

You said that you will not forgive us if we do not forgive people who have done us wrong.

I accept that as much as I have shown and extended forgiveness you have done the same for me. So help me to forgive much.

When we feel the urge to call somebody out from their actions. Stop us and teach us what is right to say and how to say it.

Most of all help us to discern and understand the consequences of our own words and actions.

In your Name,

Amen

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD

Dear Jesus,

I could have handled this better in hindsight.

Please help (name) to forgive me for saying those things to her/him.

Most of all I understand that in order to experience your forgiveness I have a responsibility to extend forgiveness.

How can I do that? What should I do to help make things right?

This is impossible for me. I am worried about what she/he will think and how she/he will respond.

I trust that you are in control of all matters and situations. You said that although some things are impossible with man, all things are possible with God.

In your Name,

Amen

SEEK PEACE & PURSUE IT

Dear Jesus,

Life can be so complicated.

Especially that our lives are so connected to others.

I feel that I can get through life just doing most things on my own and I would be happy.

No dissappointments, no expectations, no worries.

Is it ok to feel this way.

You’ve advised that we should seek peace and pursue it.

How can I seek peace in the connections I have with others?

In your Name,

Amen
